provided a legitimate spark plug offensively amongst Rutgers Prep’s group of guards in their championship matchup against Gill St. Bernard’s. Putting an immense amount of pressure on the rim throughout the course of the game, Nsenkyire thrived as a PnR operator, taking advantage of different ghost and guard to guard screens to create confusion amongst defenders to get to the basket and finish strong in traffic. Putting pressure on the rim in more ways then one, Nsenkyire also attacked closeouts off different ball reversals to convert on soft touch floaters around the basket while also mixing in some strong physical drives bumping defenders on his way to the hole.

Nsenkyire wasn’t relied upon for significant scoring contributions but was nonetheless a critical piece to the win as a senior leader for an otherwise younger rotation. The high-octane guard set the tone on the defensive end as a relentless pest pressuring the ball with quick hands and feet, swiping four steals and consistently keeping the Cougars from getting into their offense smoothly. He brings dynamic straight-line speed off the bounce along with capable perimeter shooting if left open, while growing into more of a lead guard and facilitator in the halfcourt. Nsenkyire projects as an instant-impact contributor at the D3 level with a chance to grow into a starting role at F&M in time.

provides a strong offensive spark— showcasing his finishing ability both as a downhill driver in the half court and in transition all while also being a reliable spot up shooter from three point distance. Defensively, he’s capable of delivering several standout moments, some that may alter the course of a game— applying constant ball pressure, containing drives, and consistently positioning himself to force turnovers—regularly turning defense into easy offense.

Nsenkyrie will also get the opportunity to play on the ball, which will help his game throughout the course of the season. The 6’1 guard has a nice handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and finishes strong around the rim. Nsenkyrie rarely forces shots in the half court and sets his feet before he shoots. He is a tough on-ball defender and finds his open teammates in the half court. Nsenkyrie is a gamer who does whatever it takes to help his team win games and should put that on display this winter.

impressed with his finishing ability as not only a downhill driver in half court offense but also in transition. Nsenkyrie also made a number of highlight plays defensively with his ability to constantly pressure the ball, contain drives, and be in the right position defensively, causing a handful of turnovers and routinely turning defense into offense.

Nsenkyrie impressed with his 2-way game. He applied great ball pressure on the defensive end coming up with several steals. He uses his quickness to propel himself into driving and passing lanes. He showed some flashes as a scorer. Nsenkyrie showed that he could run the one and get guys involved. He will be a priority at the small college level.
