Expert Analysis
Ari Rosenfeld | Prep Hoops Scout
Size and shooting provides a simple recipe from a prospect standpoint, and Ceberio quite clearly brings both to the table. After making spot contributions as a freshman, the stretch forward has solidified himself as part of the rotation off the bench and had his breakout on Tuesday with 21 points on a whopping 7 3s. Ceberio has a simple and repeatable release with a smart sense for finding open space on the perimeter. He uses his size well on the glass, but will have to grow into more of a rim protector or improve his lateral movement to carve out a clearer role on D. Nonetheless his plug-and-play contributions as a floor-spacer in the frontcourt should draw significant college attention when the time comes.

adds versatile shot making to Rutgers Prep’s offense. Repeatedly punishing defenders for late contests and poor closeouts, Ceberio excels both as a spot up marksman and as a movement shooter. His compact mechanics make him a constant scoring threat, especially given how relentlessly he hunts his shot and stays ready to fire. He sprints the floor in transition, frequently relocates, and moves effectively without the ball, all of which amplify his shooting impact.

has consistently impressed in a number of showings this fall. Confident from three point range, Ceberio has thrived as both a spot up shooter and a movement shooter. With a compact shooting form, Ceberio is threat to always shoot the ball largely due to him always being hunting his shot and being shot ready, always sprinting the floor in transition, while also constantly relocating and moving well without the basketball.
