A prototypical court general, there’s no one whose passing and vision stood out more than Nate Munson Nate Munson 6'0" | PG Lockport | 2027 State IL . Time and again in Flight Athletic’s 10 point win over Illinois Hoop Stars, Munson thundered down the court and made laser passes for easy lay-ups. With shifty, constantly moving eyes, Munson knew exactly what was going on on the court at all times and communicated confidently with his teammates, directing who the ball should go to and shouting “Let it go!” for multiple second-chance plays. His ability to find the open player is special and his passing is elite. Munson also showed aggressiveness as a defender – opposing players could go right at him and Munson never flinched. His hands were everywhere, deflecting the ball especially in the paint. If anything, I would have liked to see Munson get his own shot more often rather than always looking for his teammates. If he can improve his shot creation skills, Munson can become even more of a match-up threat.

I’ve watched him quite a bit. It’s time for an update as he gets ready for a big senior year. The floor general capabilities continue to be a strong-suit as he worked incredibly well dishing out easy dimes to his teammates. His defense also remains a strong-suit as he can pick-pocket defenders and lead a charge in transition. All-around leadership qualities are exactly what you want from him.

A competitive floor facilitator who consistently provided quality looks for teammates throughout first game of weekend on Friday night. Delivered multiple sharp passes for assists on back doors, blob actions, cutters, or pitch aheads to beat defense down the floor. Set others up for scoring success with vision and patience. Has a smooth handle always lookup up and seeing what options there are. Showed some ability to finish himself slicing through the defense and converting at the rim. Liked his ability to create off the bounce as a true lead point at the next level.

Athletic Point Guard for flight athletics. Came through when needed in a tight game vs BNB Saturday afternoon. Finished with 24 in the contest. Hitting difficult shots from all three levels and never lost confidence. I’m a big fan of his ability to read defenses and make good decision with the ball. That showed on Sunday with terrific playmaking abilities. I also love the build for his age.
