Defensively, Suarez showed more consistent flashes as a dependable anchor, using his size, timing, and instincts to protect the paint by contesting and blocking shots ultimately discouraging opponents from attacking the rim while demonstrating his ability to be a dominant area rebounder, just completely snatching rebounds out the air.

Suarez showed he didn’t need to frequently score the bucket to make an impact on the game. His timing on the defensive end was elite which allowed him to alter several shots. He came up with rebounds and did a nice job running the floor. He finished around the bucket. He is agile for his size. His ability to pass the ball was shown throughout his play. Suarez’s best ball is ahead of him should be a stock riser in south Jersey.
