Expert Analysis

-Williams transferred in from a different team within the BCL and had limited exposure as he had to sit out both MIAA and BCL games this season. But Williams has showed well in non conference games and AAU practices as a dynamic wing prospect that has a ton of upside. Williams is quite strong and has good positional size as a physically-imposing prospect that can hit the glass, put pressure on opposing defenses with his paint touches, and guard multiple positions. Over the course of the season both his speed and leaping ability picked up as well as his processing on the fly as he adjusted to the frenetic pace that SFA plays at both ends of the floor. Williams should turn some heads as a key contributor for a deep TTO 16u team that suits his strengths as a basketball player.

-Williams moved up two spots to round out our Top 10 as a physical wing prospect that has earned a consistent role for St Frances. Our scouts have come away impressed with Williams’ burst with the ball in his hands, carving out space with his shoulders on drives to the rim or weaving around defenders with spin moves to show the improved finesse. His jumper has been consistent off the catch, but he still has a way to go for self-created jumpers off the bounce within the scope of the Panthers’ offense. His 2-way production and potential should make him a valuable piece on Chase Street for the years to come.

-While the skill level continues to progress, his effort on the glass and defensively in ball screens can lead to him carving out a larger role within the Panthers’ system. His blend of mobility, ball skills, and motor raise his upside as a long-term prospect that has his best basketball ahead of him. Want to see him step through double teams and use his pivot around the rim to create easier finishing angles that will keep him on the floor.

Williams reclasses into 2029 after entering a short stint last season showing some promising signs as a 2028 forward at Loyola Blakefield. The 6-foot-5 forward boasts a strong, burley frame that he uses to impact the glass and as an effective screener. He’ll have an opportunity to contribute in a role for head coach Nick Myles as part of a frontcourt rotation who will stick with the consistent production. Playing alongside dynamic guard such as

Mikey already poses real problems for opponents on both ends of the floor. He possesses terrific length, mobility, and overall feel for the game. Mikey is a quality athlete who finishes very well around the basket, showing the ability to play through contact or well above the rim. His general skillset seems to improve with each new viewing, yet he still knows how to overwhelm opponents with his motor and physicality. Mikey rebounds the ball at a strong rate and blocks shots well as an interior defender. Once he matures and work on his body “LOOK OUT”

Mikey came out the gates a bit laid back, but I liked the way he dialed it up as the intensity increased. He had some big plays on both ends of the floor through 5-on-5 play. Mikey imposed his will as one of the biggest players on the floor. Muscled his way inside the paint and finished layups at a high volume for his points. Showed some comfortability operating in the midrange area. Mikey had a couple of big dunks to cap his overall performance, earning 2nd-Team honors.

Mickey’s growth over the last two years is noticeable and impressive. Has added a lot to his game and is becoming a true weapon from the perimeter as well as being able to make plays in other areas. He has shown early on his ability to get to his spots and knock down shots with range, being a weapon from behind the arc. But with his size, he brings value in attacking off the bounce and bringing a balanced attack offensively.

-Williams’ athleticism and blend of ball skills screams upside as a G/W prospect that can get it done at both ends of the floor. Playing behind a senior backcourt committed to D1 schools has steepened his path to early minutes but he’s learning to find ways to impact the game in his role.

Whether he is showing his feel and impact down low offensively, making his presence felt defensive in protecting the rim, or showing his range in being able to step out, there is a lot to like about the upside that 2028

-A dynamic 6’4 athlete from Pennsylvania that we really liked over the summer with Team Thrill , Williams should turn heads locally as a versatile wing prospect with a ton of upside. The handle is tight enough to take advantage of a quick first step so Williams frequently blows past his man and gets paint touches to create plays for his team. Excited to see how he fits into a veteran mix of talent at Loyola.
