About Michael

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe myself as a two-way player who can defend the rim and perimeter. I would also describe myself as a three level score and a playmaker.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a leader who is a good communicator which makes me a good playmaker. My mentality is you win your match up, do that and we will win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

My extracurricular activities and volunteer activities are video/audio editor for WCYE media, volunteer at Fernbank Elementary School, volunteer at Pebblebrook basketball. I'm in 14 clubs a few are Student Government, Science National Honor society, Environmental club, Recycling club, Chess club, Beta Club, BSU, Spanish club, National Honor Society. I have received non sport awards for science.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've learned how to be a more efficient leader and communicate more directly with constructive criticism leading to resolving any issues quicker and being most productive.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One main challenge I faced was going from a six man in the rotation to a full-time starter on every team I played on, this built my character understanding that the more you work the better the results are as long as you're consistent

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a division one college that has a good science/technology department.

Setrana played his middle school basketball at Druid Hills MS and has taken his talents to the high school level and 4A Druid Hills. He stands at 6-foot-3 and places plenty of emphasis on defense. When one has the wingspan that Setrana has, that can be the case as he will look to reject an opposing ball handler’s shot attempt as a defender. One area that he displays his high basketball IQ is when he receives passes in transition and looks to finish with emphasis at the cup. Setrana also places a lot of attention on ball handling as well as the ability to make efficient passes to teammates.
