Michael Pace Michael Pace 6'4" | CG Norcross | 2024 State GA had a tremendous showing at Sunday’s camp and he looks primed for a breakout year at Norcross, one of Georgia’s blue-blood programs. Pace can be effective both on and off the ball but he’s at his best in an up-tempo game.  He’s got great size and speed at the guard spot which really helps him in transition. We saw him trying to push the pace a lot on Sunday which led to a number of creative finishes at the rim. We also saw him hit the spot-up three consistently. Detroit Mercy was the first school to offer Pace back in July.

The Jesse McMillan era has brought a great deal of winning to 7A Norcross and last season was no different. Pace and his Blue Devils made a deep run in last season’s 7A state tournament – all the way to the state semifinals. Pace makes plenty of plays as a passer and knows how to weave his way through a defense. He possesses plenty of speed – including when he has the ball in his hands – and is more than capable of delivering a strong finish at the rim. A 3-point shot is also part of Pace’s overall offensive arsenal. He has an offer from Division I Detroit.

The Norcross squad that played on Thursday is likely far from their November roster but the group they brought did some interesting things, Michael Pace Michael Pace 6'4" | CG Norcross | 2024 State GA especially. Pace loves to up the tempo and he was constantly beating defenses up the floor, slicing through bodies to get to the rim. You get so much activity from Pace on both ends of the floor, his size and athleticism providing a lot of versatility too. This month of June could be huge for Pace as he’ll likely be playing in front of a lot of important eyes.
