Another incoming transfer for Red Bank Catholic, Alston looked ready to make an instant impact after a year on JV at nearby Christian Brothers Academy. A utility wing, Alston was at his best in transition, whether pushing it himself into a clean decision or running out ahead of the play for easy buckets. He showed himself to be a capable shooting threat off the catch, providing nice overall versatility to his game as a Swiss-army piece on the perimeter. He’ll have a chance to be one of the breakout sophomores in the Shore Conference and should find himself on collegiate radars in due time.
