Gallo has the ability to play either spot on the wing, making him an intriguing prospect to watch in the class. The 6’4 guard uses his size to see over his defender and has a high release on his jumper. Gallo moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the half court. He uses his length to make an impact on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. Gallo is a lanky wing prospect who should put up big numbers throughout the course of the season.

A twitchy two guard who’s wired to score and possesses enough shake and burst to create for himself off the bounce, Gerard Gallo‘s aggressive scoring style easily stood out. Gallo was naturally aggressive in looking to score— creating separation and getting to his spots off the dribble for smooth mid range pull ups, highlighting the tight handle he possesses coupled with the creativity to attack matchups in isolation, while providing an added threat as a perimeter spot up shooter. There’s definitely room for Gallo to grow as a finisher, particularly as he develops a better understanding of which angles to target off the backboard and becomes more effective finishing in traffic, however his handle and wiggle to create separation off the dribble was still extremely impressive nonetheless.
