About Matlock

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Highly athletic guard that can finish strong above the rim, make open and contested threes, and consistently make moves to get pull-up midrange jumpers. Multi-position lockdown defensive game that matches up against the quickest guards. Has a motor that never stops and always crashes for rebounds hard. Very coachable and is willing to do whatever is asked with a positive attitude.

The bouncy swingman led all scorers with 19 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist. Gemberling did a great job moving without the ball, finding soft spots in the defense with flex cuts along the baseline. Matlock netted a three and was able to get downhill multiple times, finishing at the rim or dropping in floaters. He shot 6-6 from the foul line including 4-4 in the fourth quarter. Gemberling is averaging 13.7 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists per game while maintaining a 4.2 GPA.
