Smith is a versatile long range bomber who brings deep range and a great feel for attacking aggressive closeouts. His ability to stretch defenses from well beyond the three point line makes Sequoyah even more difficult to defend, as opponents have to account for his ability to get hot in a hurry from outside. He is one of several long range snipers on this Sequoyah squad and has been flying under the radar this fall. As a true 3 and D piece, what makes Smith even more intriguing is his ability to impact the game on the defensive end, where he consistently makes winning plays and brings energy to each possession.

Smith earned All-County honors for Sequoyah this season after averaging double figures in scoring and continues to impress with his efficient offensive game. A reliable shot maker with range, he does an excellent job spacing the floor and knocking down perimeter jumpers. Smith is also effective attacking closeouts, using his feel for the game and body control to get into the paint and finish at the rim. He plays with a high basketball IQ, consistently making smart decisions and understanding how to create advantages within the flow of the offense.
