11th team…Everyone wants to talk about his 53 point performance, but Marquese is much more than just that. Can score off the bounce. He is a warrior. Does everything he can do to make a positive impact in the game. Really good leaper. Tough and strong rebounder who will not be denied even against bigger players. Explosive to the rim and can finish through contact.

As recently reported had a 53 point game. But his game is all about work ethic. Outstanding rebounder especially  on the offensive end. Can knock down the open three but is most effective driving the ball. Quick athletic leaper. High energy player.

Scoring a school record 53 points in leading the Brentwood squad to a big victory over Central Islip. The previous high was 52 by Former UNC player and NBA player as well as the current President of Basketball for the Charlotte Hornets Mitch Kupchak.  Marquese is an all around player he can score inside or out. This night he had 19 field goals connecting on 3 threes  and converted at the charity stripe for additional 6 points. Night after night he is never outworked. He also had 4 assists and 7 rebounds. He is strong and athletic to the rim either in the half court or in transition. He has a strong will to win. A tough player who mixes it up underneath and finishes at the rim. Outstanding rebounder cleaning up misses. On the defensive glass he can snag the rebound and lead the break.

There’s not a harder worker on the floor them Marquese. Sheer determination to make plays puts him high on this list. Plus he is a really talented player. A ferocious rebounder goes after everything on either end. Strong driver and really improved as the season went on knocking down shots from the perimeter. Uses his body really well boxing out to get rebounds and also protecting the ball on his drives to the hoop.

A workhorse on the floor on either end. Outstanding rebounder. Makes nice cuts to open areas . Extremely strong finisher. Relentless player. Has the season went on began to show he can knock down the foul line jumper. Very capable of getting to the rim off of 2-3 dribbles and finish with authority.
