About Marique
Expert Analysis
Bobby Lopez | Prep Hoops Scout
Rivers is an intriguing player to watch for Sierra heading into the season bringing plenty of potential after averaging 6.0 points and 9.0 rebounds as a freshman. He already showed an ability to dominate around the basket, using his strength and touch to be an effective interior presence. He is a quality finisher who can create his own opportunities with his back to the basket and has a nice feel for scoring in traffic. Defensively he plays with toughness, protects the paint and makes opponents work for everything near the rim. His sophomore season could be a big step forward
