Bauer’s movement on the basketball court is impressive as he can cut into the lane for layups, shoot from the perimeter and crash the glass for offensive rebounds and putbacks. Defensively, Bauer moves well enough to guard in space and he’s big enough to also defend in the lane. Bauer played some varsity basketball as a sophomore at Pius XI Catholic, but he had to play on the JV1 squad at New Berlin Eisenhower as a junior due to the WIAA transfer rules. Bauer hopes to challenge for a starting role for an improved Eisenhower squad as a senior.
