Arguably the best playmaker in New England, Toews does all the little things that a coach looks for out of his point guard. A Boston College commit, Toews plays with great pace and controls the flow of the game. He’s really good making reads out of ball screens, knows when to pick his spots as a scorer, and has incredible floor vision. His IQ is his best asset defensively as he always in the right spot and seems to make reads one play ahead of everyone else. His rise up the rankings is no surpise as he had a terrific spring and summer for the Middlesex Magic before continuing to do the same at The Newman School this fall.
