English was a bright spot for Murray High school dropping in 20 points and etching his name in the record books scoring his 1,000th career point. I loved his versatility, especially in the post as he has great footwork to create angles and get tough shots to fall. Playing with great pace and strength, he wore down his defender all night. Lincoln left it all on the court as he capped of a phenomenal high school career.

English is already prepared to fill in for Grant Whitaker’s spot as the top dog at Murray after last season. Whitaker missed a lot of his Senior season due to an injury suffered in the preseason. While he was out, Lincoln carried a large portion of the Murray offense, With Grant now at Bellarmine, Lincoln will be expected to bear the brunt of the offense for the Tigers.

Averaging 10.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, and shooting 52% from the field, there was never any doubt that English had talent. He has the strength and size that allows him to score at the rim and rip down rebounds. You can expect a big season from Lincoln.
