is a legit hooper who plays the game the right way. He has great court vision and can feed his teammates when they’re left open. He also has a bit of burst, and has more bounce than some might expect. Sorensen is a threat from the outside as well and makes defenders pay if they’re late on their rotation. His season high was 21, which he pulled off twice (once against Christian Brothers and once against Reed). When it comes to his defense, he hustles and stays on the move. He also competes hard on that end and doesn’t take possessions off.

was a notable player due to his impact on both offense and defense. He was able to get draw a couple of charges, fed his teammates, and converted on a 3 point attempt in the first quarter. Later on I noticed him make smooth mid range shot in the 3rd quarter and he had a strong dunk in transition. With just a game or two left for Manogue, expect Sorensen to empty the tank as his high school career wraps up.

at The Border League. He was assertive on offense and utilized his speed + IQ to get to his spots. I was also a fan of the way he was flying around on defense. All in all, he gives the Miners a nice spark with his energy. And he’ll certainly be a tough guard to go up against this season.

played this past weekend at The Border League.
He utilized good pace to get to his spots and he also drained some shots from beyond the arc.
On defense, he uses his instincts and I noticed him scoring in transition quite a bit.
He may be a stock riser in the next rankings release.

Liam Sorenson put his outside shooting abilities on display on Friday night. The junior knocked down four 3-pointers and led Bishop Manogue in scoring with 14 points. It was an impressive outing from the junior and the Miners needed every one of his baskets.

Sorenson is a card carrying member of my All Showtime team, lights come on, he goes off. He has played well every time I’ve checked him out, so it stands to reason that watching him on the circuit will lead to a similar result. Watch for his ability to shoot, pass and handle to lead to a breakthrough game this Spring.

Sorensen is a quiet assassain that contributed all season long. He can shoot the ball, and is a more than willing defender. Perhaps his best attribute is his ability to consistently make the correct play.

If you’ve been around me, during a Bishop Manogue game you know I’m a huge fan of Sorensen. The sophomore has carved out a niche as a play maker, consistently making the correct play for his team.

Sorensen used the Top 250 Expo to get on the radar. There is nothing flashy about his game, but he gets the job done. He does a terrifc job of letting the game come to him, and then seems to make the right play whether it’s dribble, passing or shooting. He earns an appearance in the rankings as a top 50 player in his first appearance.
