People around the JPII program are very high on Fripp, and he’s played up with WIN on multiple occasions, proving he’s capable of contributing against older and more phyiscally developed players. Leiland has a plus wingspan, which allows him to shoot and finish over defenders, along with being a disruptive defender. That combination should compliment their upperclassmen and make the Golden Warriors one of the top teams in SCISA.

He is a nightmare to keep in front of on the offensive end because of his combination of a tight handle and elite quickness, so it’s not a surprise to see Leiland put up monster numbers on a consistent basis.

Fripp is up there with the best of them in his class when it comes to mid-range shooting, as he prolific getting to his spots and elevating near the free-throw line.

Despite being just a Freshman and not having the biggest role on this team, it felt like a lot of good things happened because of Fripp on Tuesday Night. Most of those good things were tough buckets, like up-and-under lays and skilled mid-range pull-ups, but he also picked his spots to help get key rebounds on the defensive end. Leiland is well-drilled in how to attack a defender, so once he adds the feel as a playmaker and grows into his frame, he has the chance to be a very good player for the Warriors.
