Played two games scoring 36 points against Lincoln North Star and 32 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists against Grand Island. He’s currently averaging 25 points per game. Northeast is 4-1. I didn’t have the rest of the stats for the game he played against North Star other than points scored.

Houston is one of the most explosive players I got to see at the OSA Fall League. He is a crafty slasher who can shoot and make plays on defense.
Houston is exceptionally quick with a tight handle, which allowed him to breeze past most defenders. Once he got past his man, he finished at the rim or got to the line at an alarming rate for a guard his size. He consistently got layups to go over much taller defenders and when he didn’t he often found himself at the line.
Sagging on Houston to cut off his drive would be nothing short of a mistake. He made several walk-down three-pointers during the Fall league and also was able to pull up for midrange shots at any time.
Houston showcased his ability to score in bunches, in particular in his game against Omaha Westview, where he scored seemingly every point for his team down the stretch in a victory.
On defense, he is a surprising vertical athlete who met several much taller defenders at the rim. Houston was able to be bothered by more physical defenders at times however, he often was able to overcome it and use that to get to the line. Houston is currently ranked as the top point guard in the class and will look to hold on to that ranking as the season approaches.

Houston has been on my radar for the past couple of years, showcasing impressive growth and potential. His length enables him to score at all levels, making him a versatile offensive threat, while also allowing him to be a defensive menace. Each season, Houston has improved his offensive arsenal, becoming increasingly more difficult to guard. His dedication to his craft shows and it makes him a must-watch for talent scouts, as he has all the tools to contribute at the next level.

Houston is a player who gets this team going on the offensive end. His approach is efficient and productive. A strong shooter at all three levels. He connects on his FTs, makes the three with range, and has a mid-range game. His base and touch in the dribble pull-up game is very impressive. Houston is a major scoring threat for this team and someone that they rely upon for productivity.

North Star lost their two big men to graduation, both leading the team in scoring and rebounds. The team will flip this year with solid guard play led by Houston who averaged just over 11 points with 2.5 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 2 steals per game. With his long frame, Houston is a harassing on ball defender and can quickly turn defense into offense. A three-level scorer, Houston can make you pay from the outside or use his dribble drive to finish at the rim. Houston will open alot of eyes this winter.

As one of the top guards in the state, and the highest ranked prospect at the camp, I was ecstatic to watch

play this past weekend. Unfortunately, Houston suffered an injury on a drive to the basket in the first game of the day. While his play was limited due to his injury, he looked really good in the little I saw of him. Houston created plays for himself and had a couple of beautiful, no-look passes to his teammates. He is a true point guard with an elite scoring ability. Once he regains full health, he will be a serious problem in Class A with Lincoln Northstar.

is a stud with an expansive offensive skillset and crafty game. He ran with ETG this summer: the top 16U squad in the state. He will be one of the top prospects at the event this weekend. I expect him to standout and cause a lot if problems for opposing players. Look for his name to pop up in tweets and articles throughout Sunday afternoon.

had a really nice summer with ETG. At 6′, Houston can play either guard position, but is most effective with the ball in his hands controlling the offense. He is a quick, super skilled guard with a beautiful 3-point and pull up jumper. Last season at North Star, Houston averaged over 11 points per game. There were times last year where the offense ran through him, which says a lot, especially with the talent that was on their roster. This year, Houston will be the main guy. I expect him to have a breakout Junior season. Houston is a special talent.

Houston has really taken his game to another level since last summer. You can tell he has been working hard on all aspects of his game. Tight handle, has become a better facilitator, improved his jumper, and has gotten more comfortable playing off of two feet down low. His touch at the rim looked great at the Omaha Showcase but his facilitating was what stood out to me the most in games I watched. Very unselfish and was making on time passes and found bigs for some nice dump offs.
