Another 2027 guard who emerged at the USC Team Camp is Thompson. He stood out to me in Friday’s opening game in Colonial Life Arena, a place where the Cobras will have aspirations of playing in March. Landon’s shooting and secondary playmaking will be an important factor in those hopes. When playing off the ball, his ability to catch-and-shoot must be respected, which will open space for him to drive closeouts and create off the bounce. Thompson knocked down 3 threes in a win over Dutch Fork, but he also chipped in with a pair of assists.
