On a very talented and senior led Evansville North squad, Lance Smith Lance Smith 6'1" | SF Evansville North | 2026 IN has been a sensational glue guy. Not many weaknesses in his game, but his calling card is his insane motor. He makes plays all over the floor because he simply wants it more. Good defender that can guard multiple spots on the floor. He rebounds well outside of his area. On the offensive end, he’s a good three-point shooter that also does the little things in the offense like setting good screens and is an excellent cutter off the ball. If Evansville North is to make a run, don’t be surprised to see Lance Smith Lance Smith 6'1" | SF Evansville North | 2026 IN ‘s name popping up.

Lance made a pretty big impression night one with his physical play. Despite only being 6’1, he was able to hang on the inside, due to his strength. This enabled him to finish through contact in the paint, (with either hand), and also compete on the glass. He can also step out and hit perimeter jumpers. Smith attempted to take a charge in transition with seconds remaining and was called for a block. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a high-schooler handle a big call not going his way with more maturity. His overall decision making, effort, and character made him an enjoyable player to watch.
