He didn’t have his best day shooting the ball from the perimeter but remained aggressive to attack the paint and would end up drawing a high number of fouls. Schools at the JC and D2 levels have showing a high amount of interest so far and we fully believe that he can make a nice impact on those levels.

His team would come up short in their matchup against Terry Sanford, but he gave them everything he had, providing a game high of 22 Points in the loss. College coaches at the JC level have extended offers already while D2 programs have watched closely and are showing interest. His size and skills are clearly attributes that make him an intriguing prospect and we feel that he will only get better once he gets into the right college program.

If Scotland County hopes to make a deep run in the playoffs, they will need big time play from this young man, as he has given them in the past few weeks. He has the ability to be dominant scoring and rebounding the ball due to his size, which will create matchup problems for several teams that they may face.

The level that he’s played at this month has been absolutely impressive, and he added to his resumé with a 36-point performance in their championship game against Richmond. He’s strong enough to bang inside the paint but is skilled enough to step out and knock down shots.

His team is putting together one of their best seasons in school history record wise and he continues to lead the way as they picked up another big conference win on Friday. Scoring 38 Points in the win, he passed the 1,000 Point scoring mark for his high school career and will continue to look add to the total as they move into Conference and State tournament action.

In one of his best games of the season, he was aggressive to attack the paint from start to finish and dominated on the offensive end of the floor. He didn’t settle for the outside shot too often but instead attacked the basket and made several plays above the rim in transition. His biggest basket of the night was a game winning layup that he scored with time expiring which would give him team the win on the road against Pinecrest. Cousar finished with 27 Points on the night and continues to pick up college offers and interest from numerous programs.

Came up with a big-time performance in their matchup with LCHS on Friday night, scoring 21 Points and pulling down 10 Rebounds. He battled constantly inside the paint, especially on the offensive end, not settling too often for the outside shot but attacking the basket for buckets and drawn fouls.
