Continue ReadingOne of the top overall prospects in the state, he recently made his commitment to Duke University. He led his team a regional championship game appearance this year, putting together several impressive performances including a 62-point performance in the state playoffs.
After a successful senior season, picking up offers from multiple level programs, he decided to make his official college choice on May 10th. Some of the programs that have extended offers that are in the mix are: Chowan, Milligan, St. Andrews, D’youville and Bridgewater are just a few of the schools recruiting Cave.
Recently he picked up an offer from Livingstone out of the CIAA, as well as already holding offers from numerous JUCO programs. This past season he led his team to another state playoff appearance after putting together several big-time games against conference opponents.
One of the better scoring Guards on the east side of the state, leading his team to 16 wins this past season while averaging 25 PPG. He has an outstanding midrange game, doesn’t allow himself to get sped up, and has a nice overall IQ for the game. He recently announced his verbal commitment to attend the University of Mount Olive and play at the D2 level.
Another player that put together a very impressive showing throughout his senior season, he put up big time scoring numbers against some of the better teams on the east side of the state. He held offers from just about every JUCO program in the state but ultimately made the decision to attend Wake Tech CC for the next two year of his college career.
His stock continues to rise as he makes his name known against other top prospects on the EYBL circuit. Recently picking up offers from Hampton University and Mississippi State University over the past few weeks. He has the ability to score the ball at a very high level, despite how he may be defended, and we feel he will only continue to get offers.
