is 6’5 and is in the class of 2023. I had people tell me that he is a guy that has been going under-the-radar going into the event. I have to admit that they are right. He was impressive when I watched him play, showing that he can dominate the glass and carries a passion for the game. It felt like he took as much pride on defense as he did in rebounding and offense. There was one play that I remember and he hustled back in transition and swatted the ball out of bounds. It felt like a statement play. His impact went beyond this block on the defensive end, as he had several great shot contest. One thing that I liked about him is that he would close out on a shooter without fouling. Outside of the defense, it felt like he grabbed most of his team’s rebounds. There were plays that he had a good cut that would result in a dunk or he would drive and draw the foul. He would knock down the free throws at a decent clip. Rebounding, inside scoring, and a solid two-way player is what you get with him. Someone that will hustle and be scrappy inside.
