Slow Grind Elite had an excellent Sunday, blowing out Indiana Elite in each team’s final game of the spring 3SSB season. Yarbrough dominated with his strong frame playing off two feet and taking smart shots. Scoring 30 points on 13/15 shooting from the floor is ridiculous in a major shoe circuit game and it’s because Yarbrough got some easy buckets by working off his teammates, hit shots off the catch and displayed his advanced understanding of how to play. A bit of an under the radar name, Yarbrough was named to the all breakout team by The Circuit after Session I and entered the weekend 10th in TS% on the 3SSB Circuit at the 17 U level. After the ridiculously efficient performance Yarbrough had on Sunday, I’d imagine he’s climbed up a few spots on that list. West Coast Division I programs need to check out Yarbrough during the summer because his offer list should not be empty.

Yarbrough is a physical wing with a pretty diverse skill set who uses his body and strength well to attack angles, shrug defenders off, and also sets up his attacks with hard jabs and fakes. He can hit from three at a good clip, but really thrives as a physical downhill finisher who often demands extra defenders.

Yarbrough is a big guard/wing who plays a big role for Elite Prep. He has the handle and vision to create from the perimeter and can spur a lot of action for his squad. He’s really dangerous getting some momentum going downhill and has the strength/athleticism to finish through contact and above the rim. He’s shown a great combo of skill and strength that allows him to maneuver around and bully through defenders.
