has truly impressed while actively developing his overall game throughout the season, earning himself the class 5A Player of the Year. The 6’1, 180-pound senior has led the Bloodhounds with 16.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists. Had the opportunity to watch Knaggs play against various competition and he seemed to always find ways to contribute and be productive. He has a solid jump shot from mid-range or from three with above average body control when finished at the rim. Knaggs holds an offer from Polk State.

Knaggs was the primary floor general and scorer for the Bloodhounds once again and put on another impressive performance following the Polk Hoops Shootout. The 6’1, 180-pound senior guard battled through the second half 2-3 zone adjustments by pushing the tempo and getting teammates active. Knaggs has an improved jump shot and he’s solid from the free throw line which makes him dangerous when driving to the bucket. I’ll be paying close attention to Knaggs and his ongoing recruitment.

Knaggs had an overall tremendous game and similar to Hardy, willed the Bloodhounds to victory on Saturday night. The 6’1, 180-pound senior guard recorded 17 points against Seminole High. He has a high motor and runs the floor well. Knaggs created his own shot in 1v1 isolations or scored during off ball scenarios. He plays the game aggressive and physical when driving to the basket. Really solid mid-range game and can shoot the three at an efficient clip. What was most impressive was Knaggs ability to get to the free throw line which majority of his points came.

Knaggs is one of the best scorers you will find in the Central Florida area and can be considered a “gym rat” according to his coaches. He is a hard worker and is always the last one to leave the gym. Last season, Knaggs averaged 14.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.3 steals per game for Auburndale. Not only is a hard worker on the basketball court, but he is currently maintaining a 3.7 grade point average in the classroom as well. He is the true definition of a winner. Impact senior season looming for Knaggs this year.
