He’s playing good basketball now. At 6’7 he’s a legitimate go to guy in the post area if you need a bucket, he has the strength and toughness to get points around the basket, including dunks, and a consistent paint jumper. We saw him step out to hit a 3ptr, beat his man up the court in transition, and off the dribble from the high post. He’s a double double guy at this level.

Kelly was a consistent player this season working mostly from the post area. He was the teams leading rebounder with 8.6, while being the teams go to guy in the paint averaging 14.4 per contest. He can function on the perimeter as well. He has a reliable shot 15ft and in. He runs the court well and can defend on the perimeter, and in the paint.

He’s a solid body at 6’5 with good post work. When he plays with energy he can b one of the better players on the court. He has a good inside game, he runs the court, finishes strong around the rim. He’s most effective working the post on this team. He has some tools to work with on the perimeter, an improving mid-range jumper.
