Harris took home MVP for the Class of 2029. He’s a rising versatile prospect that makes his presence felt on both ends of the court. He was somewhat dominant working the post area. Stronger than he looks, has a variety of ways to convert around the rim, good footwork, toughness. He has the ability to handle the ball, create at times, range to knock down 3’s and mid-range jumpers. He’s fun to watch.

A transfer from Natomas to Monterey Trail where he’ll likely have the ball in his hands often up top facilitating, passing and attacking off the dribble, or posting up, coming across the paint, dealing with contact to get paint points. He’s active rebounder, willing to battle his size defending the post area. We’ll see a versatile productive prospect on both ends.

Around 6’6 and growing, Harris has a skill set that will continue to expand over time. Right now he’s starting and averaging 11 point a game, grabbing 7 rebounds working mostly in and around the post area. We’ve seen him operate away from the basket, handling, passing and attacking the basket from the perimeters, and in transition. He has a calmness in his approach.

Harris had a standout performance taking home CO-MVP with his play. The 6’6 forward has expanding skills with good movement. He scored regularly around the basket in traffic, using hops, and strength to finish around the rim. He’s got ball handling, and passing skills that allows him to operate away from the basket, creating opportunities for himself, and others.
