No surprise Reckamp earns honors for his shooting as during his high school career, the senior has once led the state in free throw shooting and three-point shooting. At this year’s LSI, it was free throw shooting as he knocked down 17-for-18 from the charity stripe – a .944 percentage. The 17 makes were tied for the second-most total out of anyone in the tournament

Reckamp averaged 14.8 ppg on 42.2 percent shooting from the field and a sizzling 94.4 percent from the free throw line. He was the team’s most consistent scorer in the tournament and posted double figure efforts in all four games. He also tied for the lead in the event with 3.0 steals per game.

For the second weekend in a row, Reckamp impressed with his ability to make shots. The lefty combo guard was sharp hitting threes from the corners but also was able to create and convert a number of floaters in the lane. The rising Southridge senior also made a distinct difference on the defensive end, applying pressure on ball-handlers and using his quick hands to garner a number of steals.
