had an all-around great impact offensively in this game. Keane was a sniper from outside off the catch. His shooting mechanics are super sound. He has a compact release with great touch, and he used this talent to make the defense pay for giving him an ounce of space. His threes also consistently came from long distance, and he was comfortable pulling up with a hand in his face. His quick release and shooting threat produced many hard closeouts from defenders. He was amazing at attacking these defenders’ top foot and creating advantages for his team. He got to the rim at will when it came to attacking these closeouts. He is able to get super low off of his shot fakes and bend around his defenders. This led to many paint touches for him in this game, and he converted many of these drives into layups with his delicate touch. He was great in the intermediate areas as well when attacking these closeouts. He finished through contact on his floaters with ease and converted and-1s on these attempts. With all of these scoring gifts, he was a constant worry for the opposing defense, which allowed him to show off his passing abilities. He showed himself to be a very unselfish and quick processor of the offense. On the fast break, he threw many hit-ahead passes that led to easy buckets for his squad. He did all of this while being an extremely impactful perimeter defender, using his tenacity and length to bother opposing scorers and not allow penetration. His active hands also gained him many steals.

A lefty sharpshooter who is about to step into a primary scoring role for the Tigers, Jorgensen averaged 3.2 points on 46-42-58 shooting splits as a role player on a loaded three-time championship team. Valley lost four of their top five scorers to graduation, and it seems unlikely that

is going to play basketball this year, meaning the top five are gone and opening the door for Jorgensen to shine. He handles it well, can shoot it off the dribble and the catch, and is an active defender.

, like Berns made my First-Team All-Expo at the guard position. As I previously wrote about Jorgensen: “A quick lead guard that limits mistakes, can create for himself and makes others around him better, Jorgensen was another top guard in attendance on Saturday..
Jorgensen added an attack-first mentality that served his team in his ability to get defenders on his hip on the way to the rim and finish with either hand. A lefty, Jorgensen’s quick release as a shooter and fast first step made him an even more difficult guard for opposing defenders. That same speed helped him defensively.”

was another top guard in attendance on Saturday. Somehow, he and Berns ended up on the same team in the 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 portions of the day.
Though the shared backcourt could have used some more height, Jorgensen added an attack-first mentality that served his team in his ability to get defenders on his hip on the way to the rim and finish with either hand. A lefty, Jorgensen’s quick release as a shooter and fast first step made him an even more difficult guard for opposing defenders. That same speed helped him defensively.

Jorgensen played in 17 games last season for the Tigers, even starting seven early in the year as they battled a number of injuries. He’ll step into a starring role as a junior following a ton of losses to graduation. A skilled lefty scorer who can fill it up from all three levels, he’s also a capable playmaker who can set his teammates up. He should be one of the most talented players in the gym.

Jorgensen is a skilled lefty guard who can score from all three levels or create plays for his teammates off the dribble. He finishes well around the bucket, absorbing contact and finishing through it. He does a nice job shielding the ball from the defender when he’s driving and finishing. He also has a really good mid-range game, shooting it well off the bounce.

An off-ball guard who moves well without the ball in his hands, Jorgensen is a capable shooting threat from behind the arc with a quick release off the catch. He didn’t make any 3s in the loss to D1, but the form on his jumper looks good. Like Jones, he’s a tough on-ball defender who moves his feet and does a nice job contesting shots on the perimeter. He competes hard on the glass on both ends of the floor and is a tougher player than his stature would make him seem.
