About Kamden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Growing up, I was always the tallest player on my team, which gave me a solid advantage. However, once I reached high school, I recognized the importance of expanding my skills. I focused on developing my mid-range and three-point shot, as well as my handles. Im in a decent utility phase of my game, a pass first guard/role player and my goal is to develop my handles and to grow my paint touch game

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I like to think of myself as a laid-back person, some call me a social introvert. I thrive on the grind it takes to achieve my goals, and I owe a lot of my success to the amazing people I have around me. A perfect day for me? That would be hitting the court for a game of hoops with my team, smashing a workout at the gym, and sharing laughs with my family and friend

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m part of my school's Theatre program and just delivered a strong performance in a minor role in my first play.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I actively volunteer with Myson Jones, my skills coach, at Hoops University. I take on the responsibility of refereeing 3v3 games for the younger youth, ensuring fair play and fostering a positive environment. In addition, I assist him during training camps, where I provide videography support and engage in skills training with the younger athletes.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My parents divorced when I was 12, and soon after, my grandfather passed away. Shortly thereafter, my older brother, who has always been my role model, moved to Clemson University to pursue his Bachelor’s in Nursing, graduating in 2025. These experiences have helped me mature quickly, giving me a deeper appreciation for the dedication and hard work my parents put in to provide for me.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am determined to find opportunities that will support my education financially and propel my career after college. I am committed to excelling both academically and on the court. I firmly believe in the value of continuous learning and approach every endeavor with a student mentality, striving for excellence in everything I pursue.
