About Kaiden
Expert Analysis
Mark Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
Wilber stakes his presence on the court along the baseline and wrecks havoc on opponents with his shooting, athleticism and all-around feel for the game. He had 15 points in the win over Rochester Lourdes, sinking a triple, getting all the way to the rim and finishing, and earning trips to the foul line. He has very good vertical jumping ability to snare rebounds on both ends of the court. Wilber sits at 913 career points and is a key player to the Vikings’ success.

Kaiden made an impression from the opening tip… literally. Holmen started their game with an undersized lineup and at 5’11, Wilber stepped into the center circle to take on the tipoff duty. He smiled, there were a few chuckles and then he almost won against a significantly taller player. He has springs and he put them on display throughout the game, whether high-pointing rebounds or converting on quick and smooth takes to the hoop. He always has his eyes up when the ball is in his hands, allowing him to make timely passes, identify driving lanes or pull up to hit a shot. Before going down on a hard foul, I had Kaiden at 4-5 from beyond the arc. He finished that particular game with 18 points, before sitting out the balance of the game. Thankfully, he seemed to be fine later in the afternoon.
