I liked his aggressive approach from the start. In one-on-one drills, he used his physicality to overpower smaller defenders and knocked down jumpers over bigger opponents. That aggression carried into game play, where he consistently attacked the basket, finished at the rim and converted difficult shots. His positive interactions with teammates also stood out, showing his leadership skills.

He utilized our C2C Preps Midwest Regional Camp to once again establish himself as one of the most productive offensive players in his class. His well-rounded scoring ability, combined with noticeable improvement as a playmaker, makes him an increasingly difficult matchup for opposing defenses. His continued development and offensive versatility further solidify his status as a high-level prospect.

He took full advantage of his opportunity at our C2C Preps Midwest Regional Camp, further solidifying himself as a high-impact prospect in his class. His combination of an aggressive mentality, high basketball IQ, and strong skill set allows him to consistently impact the game offensively as both a scorer and playmaker. As he continues to improve his efficiency, he has all the tools to climb even higher in the national rankings.

Oakland may have been the best passer on any of the teams that I saw on Sunday afternoon. He has a tremendous feel for the game and is a gifted, creative passer who sees the floor at an extremely high level. He’s able to put constant pressure on opposing teams with his ability to create plays off the dribble, showcasing tight handles and change of pace. In addition to his ability to set his teammates up, he’s also a talented shotmaker who thrives in the mid-range, getting to his spots off the bounce and elevating into his shot in the blink of an eye.
