The 6-0 junior small forward is a two-sport athlete as he excels on the hardwood just as much as he does on the gridiron. Lewis can beat you in a variety of ways whether it’s off the dribble or his ability to shoot from beyond the arc. Lewis is a straight-line-drive finisher as well and he is unafraid when it comes to scoring through contact. Defensively, Lewis can guard multiple positions using his versatility and athleticism to stay in front of the opposing guards. He is a vocal leader and proven-winner where he does all the dirty work and makes hustle plays that necessarily won’t show up in the box score.

The 6-0 senior guard does a great job at pushing the basketball up the floor in transition as he utilizes his speed to get to his spots. On the defensive end, Lewis does a great job when it comes to applying pressure on the ball and covering all 94 feet. On the offensive end, Lewis is strong on the attack where he is unafraid to finish at the rim while drawing contact and getting to the free throw line.

Another dual-sport athlete, Lewis plays the game fast but controlled.  He likes to push the ball and get out and run, where he is very effective in transition.  Lewis showed his speed this past weekend where he capitalized on a number of fast-break opportunities.  Not only can he finish on the break, but is very aggressive at getting to the rim and finishing with either hand.  The 6’1″ senior guard is strong and can finish through contact, where he is also an above-average free-throw shooter.  Defensively, he is a great on-ball defender who doesn’t back down from any assignment.  Continue to monitor Lewis throughout the season, where I see his stock continue to rise with a talented Mariner squad.

Lewis is a dual-sport athlete, where he excels on the football field as well as the court.  He is a strong kid who plays fast and likes to push the ball.  He’ll beat you off the dribble and attack the basket, where he can finish at the rim with either hand, all while drawing contact.  He’s an efficient free-throw shooter and has a nice mid-range game to go with his aggressive nature.  On defense he’ll guard any position and be in his opponents face the entire game.  Lewis looks to be the emotional and vocal leader of this talented Mariner squad, keep an eye on him and his teams success throughout this season.
