During his senior season, McFadden was the ultimate “glue guy” for MP. He averaged 10 points per night, dominated the glass and made all the hustle plays. Recently, McFadden committed to Case Western Reserve University (D3). At CWRU McFadden will be a two sport athlete as he will play hoops and be a member of the track and field team too.  

A late-bloomer still picking up some of the intricacies of the game, McFadden catches the eye with his natural physical gifts. A long, mobile forward with an increasingly strong frame, he has a game most suited to the frontcourt but with the athleticism of a wing. As a “program kid” who’s slowly come up the ranks at Malvern, he’s broken out at times this year with his ability to finish inside, clean the glass, and offer versatility on D. Academic small-colleges would be wise to take a look at him as it can be rare to find the athletic tools that he possesses at that level.

Recently Malvern’s No. 1 option Nick Harken Nick Harken 6'4" | SF Malvern Prep | 2027 State PA was sidelined for a few games with a thigh injury. During Harken’s absence, McFadden stepped up and handled the scoring load for MP. For example, earlier this week McFadden poured in 23 points against SCH Academy. Included in that scoring outburst were two ferocious dunks that shook the basket support system. McFadden is a long, athletic, and bouncy hybrid forward who excels in transition. In the half-court, McFadden can produce points from the dunker spot or the high post. Plus, he can work the offensive glass for points. McFadden’s ability to finish in close through contact is impressive. On defense, McFadden is a shot blocking machine and plus rebounder.
