Expert Analysis
Miles Masercola | Prep Hoops Scout
King has been a consistent producer for this Ambassador Christian team all season long and in the win Vs Davidson Day everything was par for the course. Now a member of the 2027 class here in NC, King finished with 14 Points and 2 Steals on 5-9 from the floor. King’s ability to play on the ball and initiate offense for this group is super valuable, he also has the shooting touch to play off of it as he’s a reliable catch and shoot option. King continues to produce with consistency on big stages against high quality teams. This season, Ambassador Christian has played a remarkably tough schedule and now find themselves hitting a real stride. King is a huge part of this team playing their best basketball right now and deserves a lot of credit for helping them through that rough patch in the first portion of the season.

King has reclassified to 2027 and is looking like a really key piece on this Ambassador Christian team. King is a strong downhill driver with the left hand where he does a great job accelerating around defenders for easy baskets. King is also a confident shooter off the catch where he’s been a consistent threat this season. King has proven to be one of this groups most reliable and consistent guys. He’s a guy that really takes pride in the way he defends the point of attack, giving them a really high quality perimeter defender. Expect King to slide into a nice spot in those 2027 rankings in January.

Another underrecruited shifty lefty out of Ambassador Christian; can score on all levels with efficiency; gets paint touches and scores in traffic with consistency; can also dial it up from the perimeter; strong lead guard prospect

A lefty guard with a lethal shooting stroke and strong defensive mechanics, King is another prospect out of Ambassador Chridtian and Top Shot Basketball to keep an eye on. He averaged 10.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game as the Lions went 21-6 in their inaugural season, shooting 43 percent from the floor and 40 percent from 3-point range. He’s shown he can get hot from a distance in a hurry in the 2026 class.
