About Joshua

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a 5’6” shifty point guard, I bring speed, craftiness, and a high basketball IQ to the floor. I thrive with the ball in my hands, using quick changes of pace, tight handles, and strong decision-making to control the tempo and create plays. My size has taught me to be creative and fearless—whether it’s breaking down defenders off the dribble, navigating through tight spaces, or finishing.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the court is all about winning and outworking my opponent every single possession. I take every matchup personally and step on the floor with the mindset that no one is going to outplay me. I’m competitive, relentless, and driven by a constant desire to improve—not just for myself, but for my team. Whether it’s diving for loose balls, locking in defensively, or pushing the pace.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Teamwork is a major part of my game. I value building chemistry with my teammates, knowing when to take control and when to create opportunities for others. I take pride in making the extra pass, communicating constantly, and staying locked in on both ends of the floor to help the team succeed. My commitment is what separates me. I’m constantly working to improve—watching film, put extra work in.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college program that values hard work, player development, and a strong team culture. I want to be part of a competitive environment—one that pushes me to grow as both a player and a person. I’m seeking a coaching staff that believes in building leaders and emphasizes accountability, trust, and discipline. I’m looking for a program that feels like family, sharing the same goals
