Bender provided much of Northside’s offense early. The 6’8 forward used a quick first step to blow past defenders and create his own scoring opportunities. He also stepped out behind the arc and knocked down perimeter shots, giving Northside valuable production during a strong opening stretch. Bender finished with 13 points.

The do it all forward from Florida was one of the more productive guys from his squad at the event. He stands near 6’7 with a solid shooting touch and some hops to go with it. He did a little of everything dropping 10 points 5 rebounds and 3 stocks showcasing the versatility you like from a college level wing prospect.

A player I actually had some familiarity with because he came to PDI Prep from Kentucky, another state I cover. Bender plays with an extremely high motor and rebounds at an impressive rate. Bender has also shown some progression with his touch on jumpers. I’m hoping to see Bender sometime during the grassroots season to continue to monitor his progression.

Bender used his blend of size and strength to be in all the right spots to convert on offensive chances. He had 14 points with most of them coming in the 1st half. He was active on the boards showing no fear to make a hustle play to extend his team’s time of possession. Bender showed he can guard multiple positions and has the ability to switch as a defender.

has been flying under the radar for a while. After making a lot of noise with early D1 offers, Jordan has been waiting for his opportunity to shine and Fern Creek may offer him that this summer. Playing primarily as a big wing, Jordan will have every opportunity to impress this summer and hopes to peak during the live period in Shelbyville.

It looked for a minute like Bender would be removed from the rankings after quitting at Ballard earlier this season but he’s now enrolled at Fern Creek and taking advantage of increased opportunities. I think Jordan has a lot of potential. The thing he needs to do most is get out and play as much as possible. He’s one kid that needs less drill work and more game action.

Bender has the potential to help take Ballard to a different level. With his genetics and size, Jordan has the chance to be a top 2026 in the state. In my opinion, he needs to play as much as possible and continue to improve his basketball IQ. Jordan has the physical tools and athleticism to be a monster but needs to continue to season his game by playing as much as he can. He may start as a JV kid this season but could be a major factor for the Bruins by February.

Bender has been a top 10 player in the rankings for a while but had to drop this update after not playing much varsity this season for Ballard. Don’t be surprised if he shoots back up the rankings in the next update. Jordan can score around the block but is also working to expand his game out to the perimeter and could eventually be a big wing. He has a high prospect ceiling and it gets higher as he grows.

Bender slips down the rankings because he’s not getting varsity PT at Ballard after a late transfer from DeSales in November. Jordan could eventually be a big wing if his skills keep improving. Look for him to make more of an impact during spring AAU and start moving back up the list.
