One of several impressive big men at Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo, this 6’6″ forward/center from Hauser High School really caught our eye on Sunday. He moves well for a big man as he showed by winning a few rim run races and consistently finishing on the roll. Bechtel can elevate to finish above the rim from the dunker’s spot and found success finishing offensive rebound putbacks as well. The under-the-radar big man definitely should be on the radar of Division III programs heading into his senior season.

Skilled inside-out forward that has the skillset to impact games on both ends of the floor. Fluid athlete that rebounds and blocks shots around the rim. Runs the floor hard and cleans up misses around the basket. Has also shown the ability step out and knock down perimeter shots as well as drive closeouts. Intriguing 2027 forward that is worth getting eyes on.

Was able to use his length and athleticism to his advantage around the basket as a rebounder and shot blocker. Did a good job playing vertical and staying out of foul trouble. Offensively he showed an intriguing inside-out game. Soft touch with good footwork around the basket while showing his ability to put it on the floor and make a play for others.

A skilled forward that’s had a strong start to the spring heading into the Prep Hoops Indiana State Tournament. The 6’7” Forward out of Hauser is a long and lanky stretch four that when aggressive can impact the game on both ends of the floor.
