Jaylin Trotter Jaylin Trotter 6'6" | C Losee | 2027 State NV was at Desert Pines his freshman season and he then transferred to Somerset Lossee. He then had to play JV last season due to transfer rules. He is now eligible to play Varsity though and he will be an enforcer for them. Not many guys can block his shot when he’s looking to score inside. And he has the potential to swat a good deal of shots himself.

Jaylin Trotter Jaylin Trotter 6'6" | C Losee | 2027 State NV leveraged his size and frame to gain inside position against his opponents on Saturday. He didn’t have much trouble either. Once he was fed the rock he went straight up with it and scored quite a few easy buckets in the paint. Trotter also battled for rebounds and protected the rim on defense.

Trotter is a solid prospect due to his height and frame. He also knows how to leverage his size to collect rebounds. Trotter scored some easy buckets as well, as defenders had a difficult time disrupting his shots. If he can keep working on his offensive game, he could be a much improved player by the end of the season.

Trotter is a force in the paint. He can shoot right over defenders, or go right through them. His top skills on defense are shot-blocking and rebounding. If he can put up solid stats this season, I think he’ll start to gain more attention.

Really excited to watch Trotter this season. He’s not simply tall, but also strong. He was mostly a rebounder, and space eater a year ago. If he makes the normal freshman to sophomore development, look for him to double as a stockriser.

Losee made a deep run last season, and return several weapons. They’ll get a terrific interior addition with the arrival of Trotter. He gained tremendous high level experience last season while playing for 5A Desert Pines. He has a chance for a big breakout season as the interior anchor for one of the top defensive programs in the state.

Big, strong, fearless interior player. Trotter is raw on the offensive end, but provides instant low post defense and rebounds at the state’s highest varsity level.

Trotter is a player that I’ve heard a lot of good things about. He saw time playing up against older opponents for the Las Vegas Olympians as well as, getting some experience during Section 7. With size at a premium the 6’7 big could make an impact early in his career.
