Crutcher’s ability to be mainstay as a primary scorer was shown throughout the game. He glides to his spots in the mid-range. Crutcher seems to get the members bounce whenever he hoists one of his old reliable in-between game shots. He ran the floor in transition. He altered a shot with bid mile long length. His ability to hit shots from the perimeter was shown.

Another article on top available 2025 prospects, another Ohio Buckets player featured. After having a prospect in both the point guards and combo guards article, Crutcher appears in our shooting guards article. Another elite shooter in Ohio, Crutcher has a picture-perfect shot base and release. When Crutcher is making shots, using his length and playing out in transition, he looks like one of the most intriguing wing guards in the state. The focus for Crutcher this winter will be consistency and impacting winning. Elyria has their most talented team in a long time and should be favorites to win a conference title, if Crutcher can lead them to that success and make a defensive impact as well, his college interest should expand from where it’s at right now.

Elyria was one of the more talented teams in attendance and Crutcher is their top returning piece. A knockdown shooter with the length and height to shoot over defenders and score in the paint, Crutcher has a lot of natural talent with the ball in his hands. I thought his passing and unselfishness to give the ball up when the defense collapsed was the key for Elyria to blow past teams on Friday. With 2026 transfer

showing some potential as a shooter, Elyria has the most talent in their conference heading into this winter. If Crutcher plays the winning brand of basketball he showed me today, the Pioneers will be favorites to repeat as SWC champions.

One of the purest strokes in Ohio’s 2025 class, few things on a basketball court are prettier than watching Crutcher scorch the nets from long distance. If there’s one thing I know Crutcher is going to do when he steps on the court, it’s let it fly from long distance. In transition, Crutcher also threw down a breakaway dunk and got a couple easy layups as well. If Crutcher can become consistent with his motor on the defensive end of the court and add some muscle, he’ll give himself a chance to be a real college contributor. With plenty of natural talent at his disposal, Crutcher’s effort levels will determine how successful he is at the college level.

Another elite shooter in Ohio’s 2025 class, Crutcher can get hot from the outside like few players can. I was impressed with Crutcher during the high school season, watching him go off for an efficient playoff outing where he showed off his deep shooting ability and how he moved without the ball in his hands. I want to continue to see Crutcher perform against top competition and watching him on the 16 U 3SSB circuit will tell me a lot about where Crutcher stands against top players from around the country in the 2025 class. Another prospect I expect low to mid major programs to get involved with sooner rather than later.

Crutcher was almost automatic in Elyria’s dominant victory over Midview in the sectional championship. Crutcher got to the free throw line early and finished well around the basket, including one tough left handed finish in traffic. Once Crutcher got comfortable around the rim he started finding soft spots in the zone from mid-range and beyond the arc. When Crutcher is the ball handler in a pick and roll, the defense can’t go under the screen without a hard hedge because that’s a shot Crutcher has mastered. While Crutcher was dominant, Elyria had a true team effort in this victory,

Crutcher has one elite skill and it’s shooting the basketball. You can run him off screens or just have him spot-up and the ball is usually going in from the outside. Crutcher has great hand-eye coordination and a quick release that’s tough for shorter players to contest. Where Crutcher needs to improve is with his in-between game, struggling from the mid-range area and finishing at the rim when slashing to the basket. If Crutcher can get stronger in his core, he won’t be pushed off his spots as easily and can finish through traffic instead of trying to avoid contact at the basket. Crutcher is a Division I prospect who could raise his ceiling even higher with some physical development. This is a name to watch in the 2025 class for low to mid major programs.

Crutcher was clearly the best prospect I scouted at the event as he’s ready to break out for Elyria as a Sophomore. Crutcher knocked down five or six 3-pointers and shoots a very clean ball off his hands with a quick, confident release. Crutcher was efficient from downtown and ended the game with 26 points. I’d like to see Crutcher get more polished with his in between game as he sometimes struggled to make counter moves when attacking the basket. If he got all the way to the rim he did a good job of using his impressive physical tools to finish at the basket. Crutcher looks like a Division I prospect and has a lot of upside.

Crutcher is a prospect I saw at Midwest Live and really liked the skill he showed. Crutcher was able to create his own shot and shot it well from the outside. Crutcher is physically advanced for a 2025 prospect and was dominant for Elyria in June. I’ll want to see Crutcher this winter as him and
