He has the ability to put the ball on the floor, and once he’s in college -level, strength and conditioning program, he’ll be a real threat on any level of college ball.

Javaun hit the 1000 point mark in the first half of the season, and he hasn’t taken his foot off the gas. He hasn’t played the typical amount of travel basketball as most of his peers, and that’s one of the more intriguing aspects about him. Although he’s missed out on valuable reps, he’s still a college talent. He’s a long, lanky 6’5″ Guard that often times runs brings the ball down the floor and initiates the offense. He’s definitely one of the best shooters in the state and has an effortless release, even when 3-5ft from behind the arc. Javaun is effective in his drives to the basket and shoots with great efficiency, with a good feel for the mid range game. As he gets strong and more aggressive with his touches, he can find himself being on the watchlist of mid to high major programs after a year or two at a smaller program.

He’s averaging a double-double on the young season and filling up the stat sheet with game averages of 23.7 points per game, 12 rebounds per game, 3.3 assists per game, 2.7 steals per game, and 2 blocks per game. He’s a undoubtably a college caliber talent with a high ceiling, and as he continues to attack the rim more and play with the level of physicality he’s been playing with to begin the season, coaches will start to give him a closer look.
