Charles Clark | Prep Hoops Scout
He’s been a big part of the success of the 71st Falcons over the last two seasons, and he took on a larger role this year, leading them to a conference championship as well as a nice run in the state playoffs. An undersized Power Forward that will most likely look to transition into a wing, he recently signed with Johnson C Smith, the same college program that his father played for and attended school.

He doesn’t mind playing the game in a physical manner and seems to be more comfortable making plays on the perimeter which should only help him as he looks to boost his recruitment.

One of the top forward prospects in the area, he consistently brings production for his team with interior scoring and rebound. This event was no different as he took home the Tournament MVP honors of the Chuck Mohn Bracket and continued to show why college coaches should be giving him a call.

Although he is undersized for a player that is playing the Power Forward position, he was dominant scoring and rebounding inside the paint. He has good footwork, understands how to attack at angles and even showed some ability to knock down shots.

With the departure of the majority of his team from last season, he will be the featured player offensively and will be called on to take on a much larger role for his team. The physicality that he brings to the floor as well as his ability to score and rebound will be two areas where he can make a nice impact which should catch the attention of some smaller colleges.

His team will enter the season with a much different look than last year, and he will be called on to step in and lead his team. Despite being shorter than many of the forwards he is matched up with, his ability to play inside the paint is one of his best attributes. The next step for him will be to continue to extend his game to the perimeter which will only help his recruitment.
