Duvalier Johnson | Prep Hoops Scout
Dalsaso has stepped up and made the most of his opportunity this season. He’s been one of the most complete players in the entire conference, as there aren’t many things he doesn’t do on the court. He scores, rebounds, playmakes, and is sound defensively, and teams have a difficult time game planning for him. He’s putting up a productive 11.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and an impressive 3.6 steals a game from the two guard spot. He excels both with an offball, he’s found his shot and has spaced the floor, and he gets to his spots. Cheyenne Mountain has taken off when he found his groove, and they will need that to continue their run. He’s the catalyst for the team, and all eyes will be on him for the next week or two. I think he’s ready for his moment!

Dalsaso popped onto my radar this summer as a wing with real size who does all the little things that lead to winning. He hustles, brings energy, and consistently makes the right play. With LOB Elite he defended, cut, spaced the floor, and hit shots that opened the floor. At Cheyenne Mountain he’ll handle the dirty-work role, and have to make the most out of the minutes when he’s out there. This is his senior season with an clear understanding of what’s needed from him. A glue guy like him can rise.

Dalsaso jumped onto my radar this summer as he’s a wing with good size that’s not afraid to do the small things that lead to winning. He’s hustling, playing with great energy, and is a player who makes the right play. He’s an unselfish spark plug that excelled on the defensive end of the floor for LOB Elite. He was also able to score in both transition as well as in the half-court set as he cuts, spots up, and knocks down the 3-ball, and that opens up the floor for other scorers. This upcoming season, he will be tasked with doing the dirty work for Cheyenne Mountain, and that does not always get the recognition that it deserves, but in a showcase where we’re not only looking to get more names on the radar, but find players that are doing the things that aren’t often discussed, he has the opportunity to rise. Want to see him there.

Dalsaso was a player who stood out to me in multiple games, as he’s a multidimensional wing who, at times, stepped into a primary ball handler position. He has plenty of wiggle to his game and is an aggressive offensive scorer who puts the ball in the basket in various ways. He shot the 3-ball, used his handle to get by defenders and finished well at the basket. Dalsaso plays hard on both ends of the floor and was productive all weekend, emerging as a player who caught our attention. Liked what I saw from him for LOB Elite, excited to see what he brings to Cheyenne Mountain this season.
