A big, strong power forward who has zero fear of taking the ball strong to the basket, Berkholz had 13 points off the bench for the Crusaders. He got to the hoop with regularity, and was able to use his explosive jumping and considerable physical strength to bank in short shots in the lane. Berkholtz can also step away from the basket to set screens or take the ball on the wing and attack the hoop.

A stellar tight end on the football field, Berkholtz flashed his ability on the basketball court in the Crusaders’ win over Beloit Turner. The muscular power forward had 18 points and 11 rebounds and was dominant at times in the paint. His physicality was a bit much for Turner to handle as he was, by far, the biggest player on the floor for much of the game. The only a bigger player was on the floor was when sophomore teammate Isaac Miller Isaac Miller 6'6" | PF Catholic Memorial | 2027 WI checked into the contest. Berkholtz is more than just a brute around the basket, though, as he can also handle the ball and led the CMH transition game on more than one occasion.
