performed well and was a difference maker for the “Dogs.” Especially on offense, where he utilized aggressive and crafty maneuvers to fill it up. He also operates with patience when he needs to. Defensively, he consistently gives good effort and doesn’t like to let his man get comfortable. All in all, he plays with a steady motor and brings a level of toughness that impacts winning in subtle ways. With play like that, he may be a stock riser in a matter of time.

was effective from the mid-range yesterday for the Bulls. He found the cracks in the defense, and let it go before opponents could contest it. Cousett also had a couple of solid drives, and he scored in transition. Overall, it was a good showing from him on offense. And the 2028 small forward finished with 17 points.

was locked in during Vegas Elite’s game against Future Elite. He was efficient with his dribbles and got to his pull up jumper a couple of times. He also scored inside and made a nice floater. In addition to his playmaking on offense, Cousett got after it on defense and he fought for rebounds. All in all, I liked what I saw from him.

‘s game. He’s assertive on the offensive end and he’s fearless when he drives to the rack. Cousett also has good awareness and is a willing passer. He can drop dimes to his forwards, or kick it to his shooters in the corners. On defense, Cousett stays in position but occasionally gambles to gather a steal. If he plays well this next month, he may see his name move up in the ranks.

got the call up to play varsity and he faired well. He attacks the basket with no fear and often makes tough shots. His best game of the year came against Pahrump Valley. Cousett poured in 21 points (shooting 8-10). As a defender, he won’t give up ground easily and he collects steals as well.

Jael Cousett (Freshman) made some solid contributions for the Bulls varsity squad on Tuesday night. On offense, he was looking to get downhill and hit some tough finishes. He also splashed in a 3. On defense, he had a steal near mid-court that he then took the rest of the way for an easy 2.

made play after play for SLAM to help them get the win on Friday night. He used his footwork and IQ to get his shots off, and at one point scored 8 straight points for SLAM. I also saw him make some nice assists. Expect to see his name in the 2028 rankings when they are released on December 21st.
