is an undeniable offensive force in the paint with an unmatched motor. His game is all bully and intensity. He easily controls the paint against taller opposition by outworking the competition. He is one of the brightest talents in the state with a lot more basketball left in him. Coaches looking for a high motor player with all of the intangibles will enjoy being in the gym with Demery.

Demery has established himself as one of the most unstoppable big men in the state. As an undersized post, Demery is a master in the paint. His footwork, poise and pace in the lane (that is a thing, cuz I seen it) makes him impossible to guard. He is a walking double double and often times, his rebounding output exceeds his point total, simply because he dominates on both sides of the court. His 24 point performance was a work of art and he got it all in the paint. He is a high IQ post player with an unmatched motor. He is a stock riser and one of the most interesting prospects in the state.

Demery is set to have the biggest season of his career and will surely put scouts and coaches on notice. My first evaluation of him was a 17pt, 25 rebound performance and every game since he has just been steady and consistent with his style of play. He looks taller than 6’3 and plays the post like he is 6’8. Simply put, Demery is a bully and if you dont have a traditional big on your roster he is going to dominate the post. He is an offensive rebounding machine and his high energy style of play coupled with his end-to-end skill make him one to look out for. He will carry NCHS in a lot of games this year offensively but watch out for his intangible game changing skills. He could very easily lead NCHS back down south for another Ring Run.

17 points, 25 rebounds.
Jadell Demery is as dominant as they come, and he plays with a physicality that makes him a nightmare for defenders. Standing at 6’3″, Demery plays well beyond his size, preferring to bully his way through defenders and operate in the paint. His combination of strength and agility allows him to outmuscle taller players while using his speed to score, rebound, and defend.
In his recent game, Demery’s efforts on both the offensive and defensive boards were crucial in securing the win for his team against a gritty Southside squad. He’s not just a physical force—Demery can handle the ball, and his playmaking out of the triple-threat position shows his basketball IQ. He’s unselfish, consistently looking for shooters and making the right pass when running sets.
His versatility is another key asset. Demery can play positions 1 through 3, and even frustrate defenders in the 4 spot with his size and skills. His all-around game and ability to impact both ends of the floor make him a player to watch in the 2025 class. Simply put, Demery is a force that can dictate the game in a variety of ways.
