He has no visible flaw in his game. He is just on go from start to finish on both sides of the ball and he has that big shot making aspect to his game that promotes winning. Big season ahead.

Braxton makes a big splash in the rankings going from unranked to top 70 in just one summer of play. Watching him last season, he was a feisty role player but in Dallas and the JSE event in Monroe he showed he is more than a role player. He is a skilled, hard nosed guard that makes everyone on the floor better. Oh, and he is a knock down shooter. Big season for Cabrera as his role increases this season at NCHS.

Cabrera orchestrated the attack with patience and precision, delivering timely, accurate passes off the live dribble after drawing defenders or forcing the defense to collapse. His court vision and willingness to make the extra pass allowed him to generate quality scoring opportunities while keeping the offense flowing.

Cabrera was one of the most talked-about players of the camp, prompting numerous coaches to ask where Natchitoches Central found this high-energy spark plug. He is a high-IQ, high-motor player who not only makes tough shots but consistently makes winning plays that don’t always show up in the box score. After watching him in Dallas a few weeks ago, it is no surprise that he returned home and put on a clinic on effort and competing. Remember the name, because he is a true difference maker. His toughness and dedication were key factors in his team’s dominant camp showing.

He looks prepared to take on a larger role next season, but for now, he is already making significant waves on the summer AAU circuit.
