Expert Analysis
Jam Hines | Prep Hoops Scout
Ross was unable to find consistency with his jumper, but still found ways to impact games by leveraging his dynamic physical tools to finish plays above the rim, score in transition and flash his defensive upside. The long and explosive wing had the gym buzzing with a monster transition put back dunk and another effortless dunk off two feet in traffic.

13p 6r 3b 3s 1a 1 drawn charge vs Compton Magic
Ross’ measurables and athleticism always stand out when I watch him play– but the red-hot motor and scrappiness defensively in an early morning matchup with Compton Magic stood out to me the most. Ross blew up screens, crashed the glass for rebounds at both ends of the floor, forced jump balls by closing the gap and getting a hand on the shot before it went up– if this becomes a staple of his game along with the offensive progression as a play-finisher at the rim and occasional pick n pop shooter– his ceiling will only continue to reacher higher heights.

Extremely smooth skilled player. Has had a nice growth spurt but has always maintained his ball handling skills. Scores multiple ways, really smooth release on his jumper with good lift. Possesses the ability to make tough shots with hands in his face.

Jacob’s older brother is embarking on his first season with UCONN. We expect Jacob to also go to a high D1 major program. An explosive wing can finish at the rim but also elevates with a smooth jumper. Virginia Tech,George Mason, Maryland, Albany and College of Charleston are all in now and this list will grow .

High level skill set. Very smooth with the ball. Great basketball body. Makes it very hard to defend him because he is equally effective at creating space to get off his jumper or can blow by you and explode to the rim.

#6 Players on LUHI from #1 -#8 in their rotation might be as talented as any program in the country. Jacob came off the bench for them this season and will be a starter for them next year. Great basketball body. Long and athletic. Can play above the rim. Possesses a smooth jump shot with good elevation. Explosive to the rim. His older brother and teammate Jayden has committed to UCONN for next season. He should follow him to a top D1 program as well when it is his time. Jacob and his teammates will be playing for a state title this week as well as the Geico invitational tournament championship the following week.

Jacob is the younger brother of Jayden who we reported on in our LUHI -Oak Hill game of the week. Jacob is his own player though. He has a really smooth pull up jumper off the bounce. Has tremendous lift on his jumper. Can get to the rim with his dribble. Mid range is outstanding. Another high talented LUHI player.

#6 Relocates to New York and goes right inside the top ten. Jacob is a smooth, cerebral player who lets the game come to him. Sees the openings and then attacks. Smooth jumper and handle. Has good size where he can post up smaller players or take bigs off the bounce. Real fluid motion with lift on his jump shot.
