Wilson strikes me as a kid who is just at the beginning of his development. The 6-foot guard really impressed me at the Summer Draft League with his well-rounded offensive skillset. The rising freshman can handle the ball well for his size, has a knack for using his long arms to finish against bigger defenders, and has phenomenal passing vision both in the half court and in transition. The most intriguing thing about his game is that he understands 0.5 basketball and that he shouldn’t be over dribbling or holding the ball for too long when it gets swung to him—a rare quality for a freshman. Wilson makes super quick decisions and should be able to help out Lincoln Sudbury’s varsity team this season.
